Schoology Information for Parents

What is Schoology?

Schoology is a Learning Management System similar to Google Classroom but has many more features. Teachers use Schoology to post their classroom materials online, to provide a safe forum for students to discuss their ideas and collaborate on projects, and to assign and collect schoolwork electronically. It helps students stay organized, keeps the class connected, and offers parents and guardians information about how their child is progressing in classes.

A Schoology Parent Account gives you access to:

  • the classes your child is enrolled in

  • your child's upcoming and past-due assignments

  • access to your child's grade reports

  • school and class announcements

Getting Started with Schoology

Parents must receive an access code for each student from the student's school. Contact your student's school if you have not received your student's access code. Follow the video and/or written directions below to successfully create either your mobile or desktop account and register to connect with your student's account.
