Welcome to the Berkeley County School District Office of Technology 

The Berkeley County School District's Office of Technology (OOT) administers a large and dynamic network computing environment.  We believe in technology innovation in education and are committed to providing high quality support and solutions for all users.  

Technology is responsible for over 15,000 computers, 58,000 mobile devices, approximately 170 network file servers and approximately 3,200 smart classrooms spread out over 47 school campuses & multiple District office sites.

  • User & E-Mail Administration 

Chromebook Fees and Damages

  •  Any instance of damages found to be intentional in nature will be assessed for fees. (screen $50.00, system board $50.00, keyboard/palm rest $30.00, cleaning fee for defacing property $20.00)Other fees may be assessed when warranted. Failure to pay fees will deny a student the privilege to take a device home and will also result in the loss of eligibility to participate in school events or programs as determined by the school administration. 

  • Replacement fees for accessories will be charged (charger $20.00, protective cases $25.00)

  • Total replacement fee is $150.00.

  • Students must report any damages of a BCSD issued device to their respective school personnel immediately.
