people observing artwork

One of Berkeley County School District’s most coveted events was held this week at Moncks Corner Elementary, and smiles were abound in every direction.

The BCSD Art Show, previously known as The Board Room Art Show, featured artwork from all of our schools – 55 pieces of artwork showcased in total.

Normally held in the board room at the central office, this year’s event was held at MCE due to the need for a larger space. The art show has grown in popularity in recent years as students, parents, teachers and community members converge to view the works created by talented students of all ages.

In addition to their work being on display, participants in this year’s show received a certificate of achievement and were gifted art supplies and a sketch pad.
